After an early breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest
conservation area. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino
tracking experience on foot. Continue to the park and visit the top of the spectacular Murchison
Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically below.

Start the day with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah in search of lions,

Begin the day with a memorable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its large

mountain gorillas.

Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early briefing, venture into Bwindi’s ancient
rainforest to track a habituated mountain gorilla family. Trekking can take anywhere from two to
eight hours depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, spend one unforgettable hour
observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon, relax at the lodge or visit a nearby community or cultural project.
