Day 1

ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI – TRANSFER TO MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by your
safari guide and begin your journey to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic
drive through the Great Rift Valley with stops for photography before arriving at your luxury or
mid-range safari lodge in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes,
giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and numerous antelope species.
Accommodation: Safari lodge or tented camp in Maasai Mara

Day 2

FULL-DAY SAFARI IN MAASAI MARA

Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s most celebrated
wildlife destinations. Morning and afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to spot
the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, hyenas,
wildebeest, gazelles, and abundant birdlife.
During the Great Migration season (July to October), witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras
crossing the Mara River in one of nature’s greatest spectacles.

Day 3

FLIGHT TO UGANDA – TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip or return to Nairobi for your scheduled flight to Uganda.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, connect with a domestic flight or scenic road
transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Arrive at your lodge in the evening and relax while preparing for the highlight of your safari.

Day 4

GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your
unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking experience.
Accompanied by expert Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, trek through the dense rainforest
until you locate a habituated gorilla family. Spend one magical hour observing these magnificent
primates in their natural habitat before returning to your lodge.
In the afternoon, relax or participate in an optional community cultural visit.

Day 5

TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Following breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park through the scenic Kigezi Highlands
and the crater lakes region. Enjoy beautiful views of rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural
villages before arriving at your lodge.
Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the next day’s chimpanzee trekking adventure.

Day 6

CHIMPANZEE TREKKING & BIGODI WETLAND SANCTUARY

Begin your day with an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest, home to one
of Africa’s highest concentrations of primates. Besides chimpanzees, you may encounter red
tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and numerous bird
species.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, renowned for its rich
biodiversity, birdlife, and community conservation initiatives.

Day 7

RETURN TO ENTEBBE – DEPARTURE

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe, passing through picturesque countryside
and the Uganda Equator. Stop for lunch, souvenir shopping, and photographs before continuing
to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
This marks the end of your unforgettable Kenya and Uganda wildlife and primate safari.
