Safari Itinerary

Day 1

KAMPALA/ENTEBBE – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Your safari begins early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel or Entebbe International
Airport. Drive southwest through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing rolling hills, tea
plantations, traditional villages, and the Equator crossing, where you’ll stop for photographs and
refreshments.
After lunch en route, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the late afternoon.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short evening game drive as you search for elephants,
Uganda kobs, buffaloes, warthogs, and other wildlife before checking into your lodge.
Accommodation: Mid-range safari lodge in or near Queen Elizabeth National Park
Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2

MORNING GAME DRIVE AND KAZINGA CHANNEL BOAT CRUISE

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, one of the park’s best wildlife
viewing areas. Your experienced guide will help you search for lions, elephants, buffaloes,
hyenas, waterbucks, bushbucks, giant forest hogs, and, with luck, a leopard before it retreats for
the day.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation before heading to the Kazinga Channel for
a memorable afternoon boat safari. The channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is
famous for having one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos. Along the shores, you’ll also
spot Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and an incredible variety of birdlife.
After the cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Accommodation: Mid-range safari lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3

RETURN TO KAMPALA OR ENTEBBE

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe.
Enjoy scenic views along the way with a lunch stop en route before arriving in the late afternoon
or early evening for drop-off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport.
This marks the end of your memorable Queen Elizabeth National Park safari.
